Due to the escalation of anti-COVID-19 regulations in Europe, ETS organizers were forced to change the format of the conference to virtual. As in our opinion, one of the major benefits of TSS is the direct interaction of students with experts in the field, we have decided to cancel TSS this year. The next edition of TSS will then take place in May 2021 in conjunction with ETS’21. The locations have already been selected: ETS’21 will be held in Bruges, Belgium, and TSS in Leuven. We hope to see you next year in Belgium!
The European Test Symposium (ETS'20) offers the 4 days Test Spring School (TSS@ETS 2020, May 22th-25th) in Tallinn, Estonia for Ph.D. and M.Sc. students who will be introduced into new concepts of computing and manufacturing.
The overall theme of this year is Robustness in New Computing Paradigms and Technologies. Renowned experts will give lectures and cover the main challenges and solutions in approximate, neuromorphic, and in-memory computing. The tutorials also introduce into the state of the art in quantum computing and silicon photonics. The spring school will give the opportunity to earn credits and a certificate by passing an exam online.
The spring school is organized in conjunction with ETS 2020, and the last two lectures are open for the general ETS audience without additional fee. The spring school is also organized in cooperation with the H2020 RESCUE European Training Network , and the Graduate School Intelligent Methods for Test and Reliability . TSS@ETS is offered to registered students at low cost rate. There will also be a bundle student rate registration for both TSS and ETS, at exceptionally low rate. Priority is given to students on a first-come, first-serve basis, as the number of attendees is strictly limited.
The TSS takes place at the Pirita Marina Hotel & SPA in the Tallinn, Estonia. The registration will open in January 2020.
