Public-key cryptography

Abstract

This lecture will be on the most widely deployed public-key cryptosystems, i.e. RSA and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). We will briefly introduce underlying mathematical concepts and focus on the services they provide, such as key establishment and digital signatures. We will also discuss homomorphic encryption, which is a form of encryption that allows computations on encrypted data without the need to decrypt it first.
